Companies might give away money at first for customers. As they create value propositions. Yes, they are most of the time the value proposition. How many times we have purchased a product from a brand just because of peer recommendation or most minutely just because a known person uses it. Remember, the base for online reviews. If you ask a layman about social marketing, they will probably tell you about social media and influencers. But digital medium is huge and is way bigger than you think. The more the technology evolves and we become more affiliated to it through our cellular phones, we will be at an advantage as customers. It is ever increasing reality that we will just have to make a command to our virtual assistant(VA) and our personal VA would get the work done according to our needs. Everywhere is AI and AR. There are now various tools like ChatGPT, which is an advanced text-based solution that can create various pieces of written content. Also, there's DALL-E, AI tool that can generate images based on text prompts. Digital marketers could use it to create illustrations for blog articles and landing pages.       The first  thing that reminds you after reading the title is maybe Twitter or Youtube or Netflix or some other OTT and/or Social Media. "Eh! What's in Trend?" The correct answer at this time may be, "Eh! Instagram Reels."     Wait! This ain't trending. That might mean not important or not relevant. But, wait for a second: is something that is trending really trending, or is another marketing stunt or technique?     This excites me to have a comment on it. We buy what we see, or we don't? We sell what is selling, or we don't? There are a million ways to be trending or set up a trend. So many "or" on this page that I am alternative culture myself.     We choose, we decide then we buy or accept. But, we simply buy what is trending.     Last question, "Is all of this Trending?" This is the funnel and this is how it grows. This is better, this is alternative, this is progress, do not be left behind, "FOMO". Mass Influe...

Everyone is Branding

Nowadays, we like to see each other quite seamlessly on and off. We are free social birds. Twitters making noise. Also, on the screen of our handy and dearer smartphones. That creates a sense of understanding us. Social Media, namely FB, Insta, WhatsApp and other social media platforms. We are moving towards a metaverse . Brands are not provoking instances of companies. Individuals are displaying themselves as what they like to see themselves as in a social surrounding. These platforms are so intricate that they are social surroundings. We learn and unlearn as well as we brand and rebrand ourselves. Life is a learning journey and we learn things every day. Research, develop and test. I am running too much of a sociologist in this comment and a marketer, no doubt. Anyways, I am not a sociologist. Certainly, we are creating a multiplicity of realities.

Marketer's Dilemma

       Everyone goes through crisis, so does companies and people running companies. The reasons for crisis and overturn failures are bigger than we think. That is why we fail. As an individual, or should I call it as consumers we change and marketers fall upon this iceberg of a dilemma. Sometimes so big that opportunities and business models turn as a source of challenges. These icebergs require ice cracking or else the Titanic will sink. This also requires a call for new vision. As well, change of consumer attributes as the market becomes volatile and temperature increases for a company to just sublimate and run out of all resources and instruments, leaves behind nothing but crash and debris which cannot be put into work. These days companies are online and offline, if I say in laymen terms. What and who is Samarth Singh? A beginning of journey...

I am an individual like you are, the person who is reading this. But not certainly of the same kind. Before I unwind myself like a toy monkey which plays the cymbals or clasps you in motion, I surely have to market myself or wind the spring first. Thinking of the day which we will completely feel ourselves in each other's shoes are like being in utopia. Socially understanding each other is difficult and understanding each other on social media is another dilemma. Social approach and society change with time and so are individuals which are a subject to them, both society and change. So here I am Samarth Singh, 23 year old man, an aspiring marketer, a hip hop fan, a son, a brother and an uncle. Sounds incomplete, doesn't it? So, lets just make ourselves open to each other in the course of time as it passes by. P.S.: I have put the picture of a shore and horizon, just take time to think what it means.
